Sara Glen Motel

We arrived later in the evening and the owner kindly stayed up to welcome us, even offering water and making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are spotless—truly clean—with comfortable beds and cable television. The hospitality and care really stood out. I would highly recommend the Sara Glen Motel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Lake George / Saratoga Springs area.

My friend and I stayed here for a night after going to a concert. The man in the front was super friendly, nice and helpful. The room was clean and cute. If I ever happen to be in the area again, I would definitely stay here.

Rooms are clean, spacious, and priced far below their value. Called about 30 minutes ahead to see if he had anything available for the night, and when I arrived he had a chilled bottle of water set out for me, and had turned the heat on in my room. I've been travelling all along the east coast for a little over a week now, and this is the best place I've stayed, by far. Not a lot of rooms, so book ahead of you can because this guy genuinely cares about his tenants. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

This is such an awesome, mom and pops style motel. I mean that in the best possible way. Room is very clean, beautiful pleasant little sitting area right outside my door. Very nice, large main room that isn’t cramped by any means. Nice sturdy furniture. Bathroom is clean, and I have higher standards. I checked out of a chain hotel to stay here and I would recommend you do the same if you usually stay at the recognized big chain hotels. The guy that checked me in was very friendly and had info about the area ready. An experience you don’t find that often these days when it comes to locally owned motels. 100% would highly recommend this location if friends or family were staying in town.

We can’t thank this motel and its staff enough for the care they showed our son during a very stressful journey. He was on his way back to university in Vermont after the holidays when his flight from Newark was cancelled, leaving him stranded and needing to make a last-minute, unfamiliar drive late at night in near-blizzard conditions. To add to the stress, it was his first time driving in the USA, having come from Australia and navigating the opposite side of the road. Realising he would arrive well after reception had closed, he called ahead worried about being locked out. The person on reception reassured him that someone would be there to check him in and asked him to take his time and drive carefully. That reassurance alone made a huge difference. A special thank you to Sunny, who stayed up to warmly welcome him at 2am, and even heated the room before he arrived. That kindness meant so much to him as he was extremely stressed—and to us, as we were on a flight back Australia and were very worried. This level of genuine hospitality truly goes far beyond what you could hope for, and we are incredibly grateful. Regarding the motel, my son said it was very clean and comfortable, with comfortable bed, and if he is ever driving through Saratoga Springs again, this is where he will stay. We highly recommend this motel for its genuine care and exceptional hospitality.

Great little motel run by a very pleasant Indian fellow Sunny and his wife. Clean well maintained with well kept land. Perfectly situated between Saratoga Springs & the very beautiful city of Glen Falls & an easy drive from the magnificent surroundings of Lake George

I had a truly exceptional experience during my recent stay. The manager's hospitality was remarkable, exceeding all expectations. Their attentiveness and warm welcome made us feel instantly at ease. The accommodations themselves were very well-appointed and comfortable. We particularly appreciated the quality of the rooms. The bathrooms were also impressive, featuring modern fixtures. The walk-in shower was a delightful amenity that added to the overall luxury. We would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a superior lodging experience.

I love this place. The breakfast was delicious, the beds are very comfy and the staff was so friendly and polite.I enjoyed the pool so much, for sure I will be back here soon. Highly recommended for everyone.
